A lovely pair of Japanese naval bridge “big eye” binoculars by Fuji Meibo, 15 (magnification) x 80 (aperture) on later steel cast stand. Expertly cleaned and and polished, these exceptional binoculars display entirely original optics in a distinctly Japanese street body instrument. Undeniably a true piece of artwork is realised entirely from steel and aluminium, these binoculars offer outstanding visual clarity. They have a sleeker, more modern look than some of the other binoculars of that period and are guaranteed to look incredible in any room or balcony or terrace. Complete with original military protective case.
Condition: excellent. Some pitting to the stand, optics very good. Please refer to photographs.
