A very unusual reading chair upholstered in beige leather. What sets this particular chair apart from the rest is a very unusual mechanism hidden within the left armrest of the chair. Lifting the hinged leather armrest reveals a small side table which would have been used to set down the reader’s book or drink… or in more modern times, the reader’s mobile phone or tablet computer. It really is a practical chair today as it was half a century ago, giving any room that vintage statement and conversation piece.
