A very unusual pair of reading chairs upholstered in green leather. What sets these particular chairs apart from the rest is a very unusual mechanism hidden within the left armrest of the “his“ chair. Lifting the hinged leather armrest reveals a small side table which would have been used to set down the reader’s book or drink… or in more modern times, the reader’s mobile phone or tablet computer. They really are as practical today as they were half a century ago, giving any room that vintage statement and conversation piece.
