A lacquered wood games table and chairs by Pierluigi Molinari for Pozzi, Milan, Italy, 1970s

£1,095.00

A gorgeous games table and chairs designed by Pierluigi Molinari and produced by Pozzi in Milan, Italy in the 1970s. The set presents itself in perfect vintage condition, complete with chairs. What makes these games tables different from the rest are the metamorphic legs. With a simple twisting motion, the legs swivel on their axis to reveal compartments which are perfect for storing games chips, cards, or even drinks, bottles, ashtrays, removing the nuisance of having these items on the table during game time with the risk of spillages or the annoyance clutter. Already a design classic, it makes a fantastic addition to any adult games room and can also be used as an occasional dining table.

Condition: chips throughout the lacquer to the table and to a lesser extent to the chairs. Some damage to the green baize (can easily be replaced). Some rusting to the steel at the back of one of the chairs. Cane of the chairs all present and sound, no damage. Overall good to fair vintage condition. Please refer to photographs.

Dimensions: 102cm wide, 102cm deep, 76cm high (table); 80cm high, 50cm deep, 47cm wide, seat height 46cm (chairs)
