£1,995.00

Introducing a wonderful piece of Italian design history, this is an exquisite mid-century modern bookcase from the 1960s. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this modular bookcase is made out of teak veneer and features four cabinets with sleek swing doors, one cabinet with four drawers and ten adjustable shelves, all of which supported by sturdy black lacquered metal pillars. The bookshelf is highlighted by brass hardware adding a touch of luxury and refinement, whilst the cabinet and shelves can be adjusted in height according to the user’s desires and needs thanks to a simple and functional bracket system. What sets this bookcase apart is a superb corner unit which allows the user an array of combinations and permutations, the corener unit can also be used at the either end or as a stand-alone item.

This bookcase shows the excellence of Italian craftsmanship and ingenuity of the era. As it is a free standing unit it can be placed up against a wall or set as a room divider, a truly fantastic piece of furniture capable of uplifting any interior with a little retro chic.

Condition: some screws and spacers not original to the bookcase, later replacements. However once mounted this is not noticeable. Otherwise in very good vintage condition.
