Shining a light on classic 20th century pieces, this item of mid-century lighting from Italy oozes charm and sophistication. Dates to the 1970s it is produced by the renowned Italian firm Reggiani.
With an arching chrome plated frame, domed shade and elegant black weighted base, it is a wonderful way to embellish any mid century or modern room. The domed shade provides a focal point to any library, living room or dining room, the arc itself is retractable and adjustable to give the user a variety of lighting options in accordance to the diffusion of light they require. A superb way of bringing grace and functionality to a home.
Reggiani was established in 1957 in Monza, near Milan, and is now an International benchmark in the lighting industry. For decades it has been at the forefront of design. The constant development of innovative products and the expertise gained in nearly 60 years of activity in the field has been outlined by an increasingly open exchange with the world of lighting designers and creative architects.
Condition: rust to one of the screws at the base which is meant to secure the cement filler. Whilst this does not affect the structure or functionality of the lamp it does mean that transportation of the lamp needs to be done with due care care and attention. Some pitting to the chrome.
