A rare and elegant table lamp by Vistosi, made in Italy towards the latter end of the 20th century. The entire structure of the lamp is made out of glass, including the lamp shade. Its large proportions make it a striking piece of art glass with the obvious benefit of a lovely illumination solution suitable for any interior, both modern or traditional. The opalescent white glass is accentuated the black glass detailing and marries so well with the clear glass structure or body. Reminiscent of strong Art Deco lines, it is a work of art which embodies the quality that defines Vetreria Vistosi as it has done for centuries.

From the purchase of the first furnace in the 17th century to the construction of the new company headquarters in Mogliano Veneto in 2010, Vistosi is a company with more that 500 years of history has remained faithful to two assumptions: it has remained a family firm and has maintained, passing it down for generations, the link with tradition of Murano glass processing. Rewarded in 2018 as one of the hundred Italian Excellences, unique in its sector for the best of “Made in Italy”, it stands out for its ability to combine tradition and innovation.

An important catalogue of lamps in which the new collections have achieved considerable success, becoming the company's best sellers together with icons designed by the greatest masters such as Gae Aulenti, Ettore Sottsass, Vico Magisteretti, Angelo Mangiarotti and many, many others. The collaboration with important designers has meant that the company has won countless product awards such as the Good Design Awards for Sata and Stone, ADA for Futura, Jube, Riflesso, the Gran Design Etico for Tablò and Trepai, the Red dot and German Design Award with Sata, the IF for Jube and the highly coveted ADI first with Diadema and Nodo and recently with Medea and Armonia.
