A chrome and glass floor lamp attributable to Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte, Italy, circa 1970

£995.00

A stunning floor lamp attributable to or at least in the style of Fontana Arte dating from the 1970s. A boom period for Italian design, with items that look as relevant today as they did half a century ago. The lamp has a clever function whereby the user can choose a more ambient light by turning on a hidden light source from within the tubular body that send light through the glass prism, otherwise fully illuminated by turning on the six exterior bulbs elegantly encased within its chrome structure. A sculptural mid century piece that mixes space age with design.
