A pair of armchairs in the style of Marco Zanuso, Italy, circa 1960
A lovely pair of armchairs made in Italy in the middle part of the 20th century. These armchairs have been upholstered in a sumptuous crimson fabric, the striking mid century design with needle legs fitting so well in any modern or vintage look interior, perfect for adding a classic Italian touch to any living space. Featuring a timeless design that pays homage to the style of Marco Zanuso, these armchairs offer comfort, elegance and durability.
As one of the first Italian designers to go beyond aesthetic issues to incorporate technological, industrial, and communication variables into his art, Marco Zanuso introduced the concept of an object destined for serial reproduction. Medaglia d’Oro, the Gran Premio, and five Compassi d’Oro are just a few of his prestigious awards as architect, designer, and university lecturer.
