A rare pair of first edition “Superoblong” armchairs by Jasper Morrison for Cappellini, Italy. One is finished in brown fabric upholstery and contrasting bright pale blue stitching, the other in orange fabric upholstery and contrasting brown stitching.
Jasper Morrison’s design philosophy is rooted in simplicity and functionality, and these iconic Superoblong sectional armchairs are a testament to his approach. The canvas covers feature felt pads underneath for protection and can be easily removed for cleaning. Condition: good vintage condition, with some signs of use like slight folds in the canvas and minor stains on the brown armchair, more obvious on the orange sofa, but overall well-preserved. Please refer to photographs.
