An impressive antique early 20th century model of a ship in solid silver, also called a "Nef", in the style of the 15th-16th century examples, impressively large and very detailed. The three-masted galleon with pierced gallery and crew on board deck and in crows nests. The hull decorated in relief and the front applied with a cast grotesque bird and deck applied with cannons, the hull supported by four grotesque birds.
Hallmarked with Hanau pseudo marks, acid tested (800+ silver standard), maker unknown.
